Project Description

E-POT is a smart underwear innovation for potty training.

Development and SmartX support

The smart garment containing an electronic case is designed to help children wake up before wetting their bed, thanks to a trigger signal.

The idea driving the solution is that after wearing the smart underwear for a month, the brain will get used to the wake-up call trigger and the child will no longer wet his or her bed in the future.

After finalizing project requirements in terms of functionality, manufacturing constraints, and targeted costs, the consortium is selecting textile prototypes and adapting the electronic case with relation to data.

SmartX funding will be used for:
  • Adjusting the process parameters for an industrial manufacturing
  • Producing a small quantity of smart underwear for testing in real conditions
  • Industrialisation and self-certification validation
  • Updating the business plan and studies on the ways of distribution.
