Small-scale manufacturing in Europe for innovative Fashion & Smart Textiles [webinar]
SmartX joined forces with DeFINE, the EU co-funded programme that aims to support fashion-tech innovation. Together, SmartX and DeFINE’s invited panelists addressed a crucial and common issue within textile manufacturing. Specifically, how difficult it is for emerging businesses, fashion designers and functional textile entrepreneurs to get their production done, close to market, and with limited quantities despite facing a lack of interest from traditional manufacturers.
This webinar featured three experienced panelists who have navigated and continue to navigate these difficulties. They shared with us the solutions they have implemented throughout their entrepreneurial journeys.

Also the CEO of famous ElektroCouture, Lisa has created the Powerhouse group. As a sector expert and prospectivist, she advises many clients including the EU authorities about fashion-tech, sustainability and education.
- Arabella Turek, the COO of Petit Pli in London, a company offering a range of beautiful sustainable clothes that grow.
